Kevin Finn is the founding President & Chief Executive Officer of Strategies to End Homelessness, Inc., which leads a coordinated system of care for the homeless throughout Cincinnati/Hamilton County. In collaboration with an integrated network of over 30 homeless service providers, the organization’s goal is to maximize the impact of funding from Federal, State and local government agencies. As well as local community investment, to reduce, and ultimately end homelessness.

He has worked on homeless issues for 20+ years. Beginning his career as a street outreach worker for teenagers experiencing homelessness and living on the streets. As a result of his background as a direct service provider, he understands that homelessness is a very difficult but temporary situation for most people. And one which has a multitude of causes and solutions.

Finn founded Strategies to End Homelessness in 2007. Creating a non-profit organization to oversee the local “Continuum of Care for the Homeless.” Infrastructure as required by the largest funder of homelessness related services, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This infrastructure enables our community to apply for all available public resources for homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, and supportive housing. In 2015, Finn’s organization became one of only 14 out of about 400 such organizations in the country to be named by HUD as a Unified Funding Agency (UFA). A title that is earned through strength in data, efficacy in managing funds, and exceptional capacity in stewarding available resources.

Finn is frequently called upon to present at National Alliance to End Homelessness Conferences, among others. Speaking on such topics as “Homeless System Performance” and “Data Driven System Transformation.” He served on the State of Ohio’s Interagency Council on Homelessness, on the City of Cincinnati’s Police Chief’s Advisory Board and Community Development Advisory Board.
