In 2015 Jamie was elected to the board of Strategies to End Homelessness. Additionally, Jamie serves on the Board of Education for his Alma Mater Covington Latin School.
Jamie has lived almost all of his life in Greater Cincinnati, but always on the Kentucky side of the river. He graduated from Covington Latin High School and Thomas More College. In high school, Jamie worked at the Kenton County Public Library in Covington and interacted with a lot of the homeless people of the area while he put up the newspapers and shelved books.
Jamie’s career began at Fifth Third Bank before joining Kroger in 2008. The bulk of his experience has been in technology leadership positions but of late he has turned to business leadership in roles focused on sourcing, procurement and cost management.
Jamie recently celebrated his 25th anniversary with his wife Lori. Together they have two children; Caitlin (19) and Zach (16). Both of his children are currently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati.
Jamie and Lori like to travel, but also enjoy spending quiet weekends at their place on Lake Cumberland.
Over the past 5 years Zach and Jamie have taken to traveling to amusement parks across the country riding roller coasters. They have been to roughly 26 parks and ridden well over 100 different coasters.
Jamie enjoys reading. He mostly enjoys leadership books and thrillers. He also has a collection of over 15,000 comic books that are the bane of every mover’s existence and are one of his most prized possessions.
Jamie and Caitlin share a passion for sports, with his favorite teams being Kentucky Basketball, Oklahoma football, Chicago Blackhawks hockey and Bayern Munich soccer.
