Looking for Shelter?
Central Access Point (CAP)
Looking for family shelter, transitional housing for substance use disorder, or support for homeless veterans? Call CAP for shelter.
Please note that we do not provide rental assistance or services beyond shelter placement.
CAP accepts calls:
- Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
CAP is closed from 12:00 – 12:45pm on weekdays.
Need Help with Rent, Utilities, or Other Basic Needs?
United Way 211
United Way can find you help with rent, utilities, food, crisis support, and more. Available to assist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Struggling to Afford Rent?
In addition to calling United Way at 211, complete a short survey now at TenantGuard.org and a service provider may reach out to you with information or resources.
TenantGuard is a short survey that helps connect people with local programs that support housing stability. The information you share may be used by trusted community agencies to reach out and offer free, personalized help.

We work with more than 30 local partners to coordinate prevention programs, street outreach, emergency shelter and housing resources across the region.
